Milburn have split :( No more gigs!
OK, remember this thing that’s been going on about purchasing the MP3 of 17 this week?
Well, now is the time!
You may have heard that the fans of the band are trying to say "Farewell Milburn" by challenging the chart for one last time.
All we ask is that you spare £0.79p towards a digital download of 17. This can be purchased from 7digital.com, iTunes or even HMV Digital (internet explorer onl, we prefer itunes or 7digital as it’s more reliable).
Here are the links again;

Why should I buy this MP3 , I already have it?
We are only asking this as a Farewell to Milburn. Most of us fans who are purchasing the MP3 already own the song in several formats. We only ask that you buy it at least once to rally up our total and hope to get Milburn into some sort of chart as a thank you to the band we all love.
What’s payment options do they accept?
7digital.com accepts all forms of payment including all major cards and even the popular PayPal.
iTunes and HMV.com accept all major credit/debit cards.
When should I buy it?
Any time between the 19th May to the 25th of May. After that the band have officially and finally split.
Why this week?
Because it’s the week of the final gigs (Glasgow and Sheffield), so it’s the most appropriate time to do it!
Milburn will appear on SoccerAM in ten days time (22nd September) and will appear as guests this time, rather than on the YorkshireNews feature which they appeared on last year.
Unsure exactly what that means apart from “Milburn are having a webchat on GigWise today in 4 hours (4pm 12th)”.
I assume people send in questions, then they reply, then you send a question, then they reply, then you send a question then, you get the idea…….gigwise.com if your interested.
Yes, episode 7 is now online.
The video is for “What You Could Have Won” which is the third release off the debut album “Well Well Well”.
Go directly to the official website to watch it now!
There’s also a new Milburn feature for you to play with!
It’s called Milburn Darts and allows you to play darts (obviously) while the band critisise your every shot.
The flash game is on the official Mercury Milburn page.
I never knew the boys had such big heads!
Updated 2nd September
The album “Well Well Well” has now been put back 2 weeks to the 9th October due to the new tour starting on the 12th October.
However, to make up for this there’s a great collection of extra stuff for them. The album will now have a limited edition first pressing that will come in a numbered slipcase and will also have 4 extra tracks on it. The tracks are: Let Me Go

Brewster (Featuring Billy Bragg)
It has been rumoured on the official forum since the beginning of August but only now (2 weeks before the next single) have the rumours grown some foundation to the claims (and now been confirmed).
The new evidence? Play.com and Amazon.co.uk have both changed the release dates on their websites.
Also expected was the later release of 3rd single “What You Could Have Won” which is to be released on the 23rd October as confirmed by the band.
The b-sides to the new single are yet to be confirmed aswell as a possible new release date.
Keep at milburn-music.com for all the latest information.
I was recently sent a video from Steve (legend) where Milburn appear on “Transmission with T-Mobile” on channel 4. Well, the video can be downloaded right here. Just click on the download link above and then select Videos. You will find it there. Or view it here. It is a very funny interview of the band with a tour of their favourite places in Sheffield including the best Football team in the city, Sheffield Wednesday FC. Includes the line “Chris Waddles Testicles” and “I’d giver her one!”. Posted 17 Jul 2006 by Arctic in the news category.
